Who We Are
The Sayegh family has been in the jewelry market for over 80 years, working in the areas of jewelry and watch purchase, auctions and foreign trade.
"Since I was young, my dream was to follow my father's paths and work with jewelry. It was with him that I discovered the taste for diamonds and the art of commercializing them. His great passion was the colored ones (pinks, blues, yellows, reds...), of which Brazil is a major producer."
At the end of the 80s, when I fell in love with the profession, I soon realized that it would not be enough to be just a merchant. It was necessary to understand a lot about diamonds, of course, but also to have solid notions of administration, law and accounting. It was then that I chose to study and graduate in Law from PUC-SP and in Business Administration from University Getúlio Vargas-SP (CEAG).
I also completed several courses on diamonds and jewelry, many of them at AJESP (Association of Jewelers of the State of São Paulo) but it was with Professor Rui Ribeiro Franco that I really delved into gemology (study of precious stones). I had the privilege of being graduated from the GIA (Gemological Institute of America) in New York, a reference in the world.
Milton Sayegh is one of the few companies in the market where you can find brilliant ones with GIA certificates.
Today we maintain a legacy of more than 80 years of our family not only in the commercialization of diamonds, but also of antique and signed jewelry, in addition to standing out as the largest private jewelry auction company in the country.
Our headquarters in Brazil is located in the heart of Jardins, in an environment specially designed to receive our customers with convenience, security and maximum privacy.
We also operate in the commercialization and transformation of noble metals, such as gold and silver, using exclusively raw material from recycling and reuse, preserving the ethical origin of metals.
We also have a presence in the American market, where we have an office in the traditional region of fine jewelry in New York, serving with the same level of excellence for which we are known in Brazil.
I have always worked closely with my employees to have a serious and reliable name, leaving a legacy of honesty, respect and ethics to all our clients here and around the world.
I thank my late father, Jorge Gabriel Sayegh, for everything he did for me and especially for the example he left.
